About The Taghazout Guide

This guide exists because we couldn't find the information we needed before our first trip to Taghazout. What we found online was thin, outdated, or written by people who'd clearly spent a long weekend there and summarised a few TripAdvisor reviews.

We spent 10 months living between Taghazout and Tamraght — surfing every spot on this coast, eating at almost every restaurant, staying in enough places to have real opinions. We're not travel bloggers by trade. We're surfers who write.

What this guide covers

Honest, detailed guides to every surf spot in the area. Town breakdowns based on actually living there. Food recommendations with no incentive to be polite about bad meals. Practical information that actually answers the questions people have — not generic "Morocco travel tips" recycled from somewhere else.
