Ryanair has announced its largest-ever Morocco winter programme, adding four new routes into Agadir Al Massira Airport for the 2026/27 winter season. The new connections — from Milan Bergamo, Nuremberg, Bratislava, and Gdańsk — will operate from late October 2026 alongside the carrier’s existing Agadir network, bringing total Ryanair seat capacity across Morocco to 5.3 million across 156 routes.
The New Routes in Detail
The four additions give Central and Eastern European travellers direct access to Morocco’s Atlantic coast for the first time with Ryanair:
- Milan Bergamo–Agadir: Twice weekly, complementing existing Ryanair service from other Italian airports and giving the route a strong leisure base.
- Nuremberg–Agadir: New direct connection tapping southern Germany, where Morocco remains underserved by low-cost operators.
- Bratislava–Agadir: Serves Slovakia’s capital and the wider Vienna-area catchment, which historically uses Bratislava as an alternative hub.
- Gdańsk–Agadir: Ryanair’s first Poland–Agadir route, reflecting strong Polish appetite for Atlantic-facing winter sun destinations.
The schedule increase represents a 12 percent seat uplift for Morocco compared with winter 2025/26. Agadir receives the largest share of new routes in the Ryanair announcement, cementing the airport’s position as Morocco’s leading sun-and-surf gateway.
What This Means for Taghazout
Taghazout, the surf village 20 km north of Agadir, benefits directly from improved air access into Agadir Al Massira. All inbound flights to the region land at the same airport, making the new routes equally useful for surf travellers heading to Taghazout and Anchor Point as for beach holidaymakers booking Agadir resorts. Transfer time from the airport to Taghazout is typically 25–35 minutes by taxi.
Winter conditions — offshore winds, consistent Atlantic swells, and warm sunshine — make the October-to-March window the most sought-after period for experienced surfers visiting Morocco’s Atlantic coast.
