easyJet is adding four new routes to Agadir Al Massira Airport this winter, with the first services launching in just nine days. The connections - from London Gatwick, East Midlands, Birmingham and Bordeaux - land Taghazout within a 25-minute taxi ride and significantly widen direct access to Morocco’s Atlantic surf coast.
The New Routes
London Gatwick and East Midlands open on 22 October 2026, giving the south-east and the East Midlands their first direct easyJet service to Agadir for the winter season.
Birmingham launches on 27 October 2026, operating twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays. It is the first easyJet link between the UK’s second-largest city and Agadir.
Bordeaux also starts on 25 October 2026, with twice-weekly flights on Wednesdays and Sundays - part of easyJet’s three-route expansion from Bordeaux Airport for the 2026–2027 winter season.
All four routes form part of easyJet’s nine-route UK and European winter expansion announced this autumn.
What This Means for Taghazout
Every inbound flight to the region arrives at Agadir Al Massira. From the terminal it is typically 25–35 minutes by taxi or shared transfer to Taghazout, Tamraght and the villages along the bay. The new easyJet frequencies complement routes already operated by Ryanair, Wizz Air and Royal Air Maroc into the same airport, meaning the winter 2026/27 schedule now offers the widest low-cost choice into the region on record.
October through March is peak season on Morocco’s Atlantic coast: consistent Atlantic swells, offshore winds and temperatures holding well above 20°C make the timing ideal for surfers at Anchor Point and the surrounding breaks.
