2. At Inezgane, join the queue for grand taxis heading north to Aourir (for Tamraght) or Taghazout.

App-based taxis: InDrive and Heetch are active in Agadir city and useful for the city-to-Taghazout leg, but less reliable for airport pickups. Download InDrive before you travel.

Tips for Arriving at Agadir Airport

1. Pre-book for any arrival after 8 pm

Grand taxis via Inezgane finish early. Shared shuttles dry up. The only reliable late-night options are a pre-booked private transfer or a taxi negotiated directly at arrivals — and airport taxi touts open negotiations high. If your flight lands after 8 pm, pre-booking is the clear call.

2. Don’t engage the first driver who approaches you inside the terminal

Touts in the arrivals hall typically quote MAD 700–1,000+ to Taghazout. Walk through to the exit and approach the official taxi rank. Prices are lower once you are outside.

3. Groups of three or more: private transfers are competitive

Split between three passengers, a MAD 450–650 private transfer to Taghazout works out at MAD 150–216 per person — barely more than the grand taxi via Inezgane, with the comfort of a door-to-door service and no waiting around.

4. Carry small notes

Grand taxi drivers often cannot change MAD 200 notes. Pack a handful of MAD 20 and MAD 50 notes for shared fares.

5. Surfboards: notify in advance

Most private transfer providers can accommodate a board bag with advance notice. For two or more boards, specify when booking — a standard saloon vehicle may not fit full quivers. Request a minivan if needed.

6. Currency at the airport
